Strikeforce is close to putting the finishing touches on its upcoming CBS fight card for the promotion's first-ever trip to "Music City" at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn., on Saturday, April 17.
"Saturday Night Fights" will feature a 185-pound title bout between current Strikeforce Middleweight Champion Jake Shields and former PRIDE champion and UFC import Dan Henderson.
Several of the promotion’s other top fighters will be in action on the card as well, including a lightweight title fight pitting Strikeforce 155-pound champion Gilbert Melendez against DREAM division title holder Shinya Aoki.
Fast-rising light heavyweight prospect Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal has also been booked to challenge for the light heavyweight strap when he takes on reigning champion Gegard "The Dreamcatcher" Mousasi.
